LiveU Assists In Web Streaming College Rowing Championships

LiveU is working with an independent video producer, in conjunction with Princeton University, to bring the school’s prestigious crew races live to the web.  For the past two seasons, LiveU’s technology has allowed the men’s and women’s home races to be available online for friends, family, alumni and fans around the world to watch live at:  http://crew.princeton.edu/content/live_video.

Next week, from June 2-4, Princeton will be racing in the 109th IRA Regatta, which is regarded as the “NCAA Championship” of college rowing.  Men’s and women’s teams from around the country will compete on the Cooper River in Camden, NJ for the championship.

Independent producer and director Doug Myers will be utilizing four LiveU packs to bring the action of the races to the web, shooting from specially-designed “wakeless boats” right alongside of the crew boats.
