Masstech Appoints Doug Hinahara as Vice President of Global Field Operations

Masstech, a provider of tools for media asset management, bridging workflows, and high quality speed transcoding (HQS), has appointed Doug Hinahara as Vice President of Global Field Operations. In his new role, Hinahara will oversee Masstech’s customer-facing functions on a global basis, including all professional, consulting, and technical support services. He will drive Masstech’s global strategy to boost customer engagement and strengthen its commitment to enhancing service level agreements.

A 25-year sales veteran at broadcast automation equipment manufacturers including Dynatech Video Group, Quantel, Scitex Digital Video, Chyron, Louth Automation, and Harris, Hinahara led the sales team for Masstech in North America before receiving his new appointment.

With global field operations under Hinahara’s helm, Masstech’s customers will experience refined triage procedures, a new live web chat service, faster engagement of specialist expertise, and improved communications with partners.
