GlobeCast Delivers Coverage of Super 15 Rugby Worldwide Via Satellite

GlobeCast is delivering the video feed of the final match of the Super 15 Rugby season, the largest rugby union competition in the Southern Hemisphere, via satellite to broadcasters around the globe. The renowned competition is drawing to a close after 18 weeks of exciting sport.

Throughout the tournament, GlobeCast has been transmitting all the matches from Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa to a global audience. GlobeCast has delivered more than 18,000 hours of the 125 grueling matches in HD and SD signal to broadcasters in Europe, Africa, North and South America, New Zealand, Japan, and the Middle East by using dual path transmissions on different satellites.

GlobeCast has been involved in the global broadcast of this tournament since 2004 and will be wrapping up the transmission of this season’s final match on Saturday, July 9.
