Grass Valley Brings Workflow Solutions to China’s BIRTV Conference

Grass Valley will exhibit its latest technologies and systems that help streamline file-based production and post workflows for attendees of the 2011 BIRTV Conference, to be held August 24-27, at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, China.

This includes the company’s most advanced multiformat high-definition cameras, production switchers, editing software, servers, master control, routers, and resource management and content repurposing platforms.

All are among the most flexible and cost-effective systems available to broadcasters and production professionals and are now used regularly all across China and throughout the entire Asia Pacific region.

At exhibit Stand #8A08, Grass Valley will demonstrate its full line of acquisition products. This includes the LDK 8300 HD SloMo camera system with the K2 Dyno Replay System, the LDK 8000 Elite HD camera, as well as its Live and Studio production products including the popular Kayak HD production switcher with Kayenne™ XL control panel, K2 Summit™ and K2 Solo™ media servers, EDIUS® multiformat editing software, and the T2™ Intelligent Digital Disk Recorder (iDDR).

The 2011 BIRTV show will also serve as the region’s launching pad for the new Grass Valley STRATUS Media Application Framework platform, a next-generation Service Oriented Architecture that works in tandem with a K2 Summit infrastructure.

Highlighting Playout & Infrastructure applications, Grass Valley will display signal processing modules within its expanding GeckoFlex product family, as well as the Maestro master control system, the Trinix NXT video router, and Prelude and Jupiter router control software.

Also being demonstrated will be the latest version of the MediaFUSE Content Re-purposing and Multi-distribution System, a hardware and software platform that facilitates faster turn-around time for getting content to the web and mobile devices for on-demand delivery.

China is a strategically important market for Grass Valley that promises continued strong growth and increasing opportunities for the company.  China also continues to be one of the world’s leading markets in adopting and implementing next generation technologies and solutions.  BIRTV is a key vehicle for the company to reach the market and an opportunity to present its industry leading solutions to the thousands of attendees expected from across China and its neighboring countries.
