ANC Sports Kicks Off Digital Signage for Football at Boise State’s Bronco Stadium

ANC Sports Enterprises has installed a new Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision signage system at Boise State University’s Bronco Stadium. In conjunction with Boise State Athletics’ multimedia rights holder, Bronco Sports Properties, the signage will debut at Boise State’s home football opener on Saturday, Sept. 24 against the University of Tulsa at 8 p.m. EST on CBS Sports Network.

The signage system at Bronco Stadium includes the first deployment of ANC’s Field Level Diamond Vision Signage System in the NCAA. ANC’s field level system is currently featured during national United Football League games and is the only system used in professional football in the United States. The signage is also featured throughout Major League Soccer and sports such as tennis and ice skating.

Bronco Stadium will feature 31.5 feet of ANC’s digital system behind each goal post, creating new advertising inventory and the capability to enhance the fan experience through full motion graphic capabilities on the field level. Additionally, the signage upgrade includes replacing the blue scoreboards on both sides of the upper deck fascia with over 470 feet of Diamond Vision LED ribbon signage.

“We are committed to making Bronco Stadium one of the premiere football venues in collegiate sports,” says Curt Apsey, Boise State’s athletic director. “Integrating ANC Sports’ state-of-the-art technology into the stadium will provide Boise State fans with exciting visuals and relevant statistical information which will enhance the game day environment.”

The ribbon boards on the upper deck fascia measure approximately three feet tall, run from 10-yard line to 10-yard line, and will display real-time statistics such as clock, down and distance, and team yardage totals. The signage will also feature team logos, game prompts such as ‘Touchdown’, animated team introductions and sponsor acknowledgements.

“Our signage solutions create flexibility for our partners to feature unique images, statistics and event information while creating both in-stadium and televised advertising inventory,” says Jerry Cifarelli, president and chief executive officer of ANC Sports. “We look forward to working with the University to create a memorable event experience through dynamic animations, as well as to introduce additional technology applications in the future.”

Through the partnership with Learfield Sports’ Bronco Sports Properties, ANC Sports will operate and maintain the signage during events at Bronco Stadium. Additionally, ANC will create all the content and statistical layouts for the signage system.
