Orlando Magic Enhance Mobile Platform with CommerceTel and Txtstation

CommerceTel Corporation, a provider of proprietary mobile marketing technologies and solutions, announced that the Orlando Magic has selected CommerceTel to facilitate mobile marketing tactics such as voting, text alerts, and special offers.

With CommerceTel’s C4 and Txtstation Pro web-based platforms, the Magic will be equipped to deliver HD-quality graphics and animations to screens, whether it is broadcast, stadium boards, or digital signage. Fans text their messages to a short code and within seconds the real time results can appear live on the screen.  The dynamic display of responses has been proven to not only improve overall response rate but it also engages the consumer in a fun an interactive way.

Additionally, the Magic will have the unique ability to engage fans through a variety of mobile channels thanks to CommerceTel’s technology. SMS text messaging engagements will be available for fans to opt-in for real-time alerts from in-venue or online calls-to-action. Fans will also be able to take pictures from their mobile phone and submit them for live display on digital screens throughout the Amway Center.
