Chyron Hits the Road for CAPER, AVXPO

Chryon will be exhibiting at both CAPER 2011 and AVXPO (Rocky Mountain Audio Video Expo) this year.

At CAPER 2011, Chyron will demonstrate BlueNet, a comprehensive solution that addresses broadcasters’ requirements for streamlined end-to-end graphics workflows. BlueNet leverages Chyron’s suite of graphics tools for ordering and graphics asset management, collaborative graphics creation, and real-time playout. Integration with Axis World Graphics, Chyron’s cloud-based services offering, extends the power of BlueNet workflows to speed graphics to air.

“Chyron is looking forward to demonstrating BlueNet and Lyric PRO 8 graphics software at CAPER 2011 in partnership with our Argentinean dealer, BVS,” said Aldo Campisi, vice president of Latin American sales at Chyron. ” Our award-winning graphics platforms allow for the creation of flexible, real-time 2D and 3D graphics workflows that meet the competitive needs of the rapidly growing Latin and South American markets.”

BlueNet minimizes the cycle time from creation to air, ensuring very fast news and sports workflows. Order management tools allow producer-driven content to move smoothly into a rundown, and management tools and easily accessible templates enable instant and efficient collaboration in preparing graphics.

Chyron’s Lyric PRO 8 graphics creation software continues to put the broadcaster in control of the graphics. With new scriptless conditional intelligent transitions and delivery of superior-quality, real-time 3D animations, Lyric PRO 8 enables users to improve the look of on-air graphics with ease and accuracy.

Cloud-based content creation tools are a significant part of Chyron’s product roadmap, and they’ve been extended to Lyric PRO 8 with the introduction of Web-enabled control over Lyric messages and playout. With native support for stereoscopic 3D, scriptless transitions, and touch screen-enabled graphics, Lyric PRO 8 is a worldwide leader for sports and news applications.

CAPER 2011 will take place Oct. 26-28 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

At AVXPO, Chryon will highlight Axis World Graphics, the world’s only cloud-based graphics creation system designed specifically for broadcasters. Axis World Graphics simplifies, streamlines, and facilitates the graphics creation process, enabling reporters, artists, production assistants, and news producers to create broadcast-quality graphics using their branded graphics package. Combining award-winning technology and functionality, proven integration, and point-and-click customization, Axis World Graphics allows users to create templates in Chyron’s award-winning Lyric PRO 8 software, further streamlining integration within the broadcaster’s existing workflow or within Chyron’s BlueNet workflow. Maps, charts, quotes, and a fully integrated order management system set Axis apart for efficiency and collaboration.

Also at the Rocky Mountain AVX will be CAMIO, a complete news graphics management solution providing increased control over the look and delivery of newsroom graphics. The CAMIO graphic management architecture enables the art department to build and upload assets once so that they are immediately available to all output devices as well as newsroom clients. LUCI, CAMIO’s Newsroom Client ActiveX, enables journalists to browse templates, edit text and replaceable images and movie files, preview their graphics and insert them into stories remotely — directly from within a newsroom client such as AP ENPS and Avid iNews. CAMIO manages the distribution of assets and ensures that all assets are available for air. Playout is simplified with either the Lyric playlist control or the optional iSQ. The order of graphics for playout is always synchronized with the running order in the newsroom computer system as it changes with floats and edits.
