Linear Acoustic Announces ‘UpTrade’ Program

Under an “UpTrade” program launching this month, customers will be able to trade in their existing Linear Acoustic equipment for a credit to be used toward the purchase of a similar product from the current Linear Acoustic lineup.

Products eligible for trade include DTV audio-processing, -upmixing, -metering, and -monitoring equipment from Linear Acoustic or any other manufacturer. The current lineup of Linear Acoustic hardware products includes the AERO.air, AERO.one, AERO.lite, AERO.qc, and AERO.mobile loudness controllers, the UPMAX 5.1-channel upmixer, the LQ-1000 loudness-quality monitor, and the LAMBDA-II audio and metadata monitor.

“For any station that is considering upgrading its audio, now is the right time,” says Christina Carroll, SVP, global sales, at Linear Acoustic. “So much has changed since we introduced our first-generation processor, the OctiMax. The UpTrade program is how we’re celebrating 10 years in business.”

The UpTrade program will run through midnight ET on Dec. 31. For more details, customers are encouraged to contact their local dealers or inquire via e-mail at [email protected].
