Signiant Releases New Media Shuttle

Signiant has released its new Media Shuttle file delivery solution, including a free 14-day trial available at www.mediashuttle.com. Introduced at the 2012 NAB Show, Media Shuttle’s patent-pending cloud connector technology gives media workgroups the capabilities of public cloud-based file-sharing services, but without file size limits or the security risk associated with storing high-value assets in the cloud. Monthly subscription-based pricing allows organizations to easily scale usage as needed.

An effective alternative to FTP or unmanaged point-to-point file transfer products for moving large media files, Media Shuttle offers the same security and acceleration protocols for high-speed file transfers as Signiant’s enterprise infrastructure products. Unlike services that store content in the public cloud, Media Shuttle provides an interface in the cloud but keeps content within the secure control of the enterprise network with centralized visibility of transfers, including job status, bandwidth usage, and user activity.
