Washington Redskins and NBC4 Expand Partnership

NBC4 and the Washington Redskins have entered into a new agreement that will result in more Redskins-themed content on additional NBC4 platforms. The renewal of this partnership builds on the successful relationship that goes back many years.
Under the terms of the new two-year deal, NBC4 will continue to be The Official Broadcast Station of The Washington Redskins, air pre-season games, and broadcast five weekly shows on NBC4 and NBC Washington Nonstop.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to continue and expand our partnership with the Washington Redskins,” said Jackie Bradford, president and general manager of NBC4. “Our viewers know that, in addition to being the most-watched news station, NBC4 is the place to go for dominant sports coverage.
The schedule for pre-season games is:
August 9 at 7 p.m. in Buffalo (this game will air on NBC Washington Nonstop)
August 18 at 8 p.m. in Chicago
August 25 at 4 p.m. against Indianapolis
August 29 at 7:30 p.m. against Tampa
The new lineup on NBC4 will include:
The Mike Shanahan Show (Saturday 7:30 p.m.)
Redskins Late Night (Sunday 1:30 a.m.)
Inside the Redskins (Saturday 10:30 a.m.)
Redskins Chronicles (Saturday 5:30 a.m.)
Redskins Final (Sunday night after News4 at 11)
Some of these programs will also air in a new block of Redskins-themed programming on Sunday mornings on NBC Washington Nonstop, NBC4’s digital channel that airs on 4.2, Comcast channel 208, Verizon channel 460 and Cox channel 803. This will provide viewers with unique Game Day content every Sunday during the season.
