How Technology will Evolve by '16 Olympics

The sports technology blog at ESPN Playbook has a guest post from Dave Evans, chief futurist for Cisco Systems and the chief technologist for the Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group. He says that:

The 2012 London Olympic Games provided one of the most connected global experiences ever. Myriad streams of content were available on TV and online, not to mention on multiple devices, including smartphones, tablets and desktop computers.

But the world isn’t finished innovating and creating new ways to enhance the viewing experience for future large-scale sporting events, such as the Olympics and the World Cup.
