Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic Announces College Football Slate

Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic has announced its 44-game schedule of 2012 NCAA football games, which features weekly match-ups from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), as well as games from other top conferences. The network’s live coverage kicks off with Towson at Kent State on Thursday, Aug. 30, at 7 p.m. (CSN Plus) and continues on Saturday, Sept. 1, with Richmond at Virginia at 3 p.m.

As the region’s official network of the ACC and CAA, Comcast SportsNet will televise weekly match-ups from both conferences this season. The network’s 28-game ACC and CAA combined schedule will feature many of the region’s top football programs, as well as teams from throughout their conferences. In addition, the network will present 14 games from Conference USA and two Southeastern Conference contests.

Comcast SportsNet’s schedule of live ACC football features 14 games this season. The schedule includes North Carolina at Wake Forest on Sept. 8 (3 p.m.) and Furman at Clemson on Sept. 15 (3 p.m.) The remainder of the ACC schedule, which includes a doubleheader on Sept. 29, will be announced during the season.

This season, Comcast SportsNet is providing expanded coverage of the CAA with 14 live games. The network’s schedule includes multiple appearances by regional CAA programs James Madison (3 games), Old Dominion (2 games), Richmond (3 games), Towson (3 games), and William & Mary (4 games).
