Jay Shinn Joins FOR-A as Northeast Sales Manager

FOR-A Corporation of America has named Jay Shinn as its sales manager for the Northeast region, effective August 1. Shinn has extensive experience in the broadcast technology industry, having spent thirty years at Grass Valley in various roles, including the positions of General Manager of Production Switchers and Senior Sales Consultant.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Jay to the team,” said Pedro Silvestre, sales director, FOR-A Corporation of America. “Not only does he have a solid background in sales, Jay’s experience in the technology market brings a wealth of knowledge to FOR-A. We’re confident he will boost our sales efforts as well as strengthen our existing customer relationships in the Northeast region.”

Shinn brings a proven record of industry success to FOR-A. During his career at Grass Valley, he excelled at effective project consulting and product line management, which led to key contract awards. Shinn consistently achieved sales growth with major broadcast television networks in the New York metropolitan area that exceeded multi-million dollar targets by thirty to forty percent.

Shinn is now the main point of contact for sales activity in the Northeastern U.S., including states from Maine to Virginia. His primary role is to work with systems integrators and equipment dealers to improve and increase sales in the area.

“My main goal in this position is to ensure that FOR-A’s innovative product line is well represented in the Northeast region,” explained Shinn. “I’ve worked in technology sales in this area, and I look forward to expanding on relationships I’ve built to further establish FOR-A as a leading provider of top notch, reliable solutions with a high regard for customer care.”
