MultiDyne Names Glen Powers VP of Sales

MultiDyne, a provider of fiber optic-based video and audio transport solutions for broadcast and pro A/V applications, has appointed Glen Powers as its vice president of sales. In his new role, Powers will increase MultiDyne’s brand recognition within the broadcast and pro-A/V community and drive revenue for the company — leveraging his more than 35 years of experience and contacts in the industry.

Before joining MultiDyne, Powers was the director of sales for Gepco International, a leading manufacturer of broadcast audio and video cable solutions. Prior to his time at Gepco, Powers held the regional sales manager position at Belden Wire & Cable, where he developed corporate contracts with major broadcast networks — including ABC, CBS, and NBC — in addition to handling high-profile events such as the Olympics and U.S. Open.

Powers will report directly to Frank Jachetta, MultiDyne’s president. He is a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers and the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers.
