Former Miss Florida Joins XOS Digital As On-Air Talent
XOS Digital, Inc., a provider of content management solutions and digital media services for collegiate and professional sports organizations, has hired former Miss Florida USA Megan Clementi. As new full-time on-camera talent, Megan will host and report various original productions for the XOS Digital Sports Network.
“XOS continues to expand our original college sports programming,” says Chris McCleary, CEO, XOS Digital. “Megan’s experience augments the already seasoned group of on-air talent at XOS.”
Current on-air talent at XOS Digital includes Hannah Chalker, Cecilia Cuaresma, Al Keck and Lauren Thompson.
“Working at XOS Digital will allow me to explore a different vertical in the sports market,” Clementi said. “My experience translates well to the TV-quality video that XOS produces for the web.”
Clementi was born in Kendall, Fla., attended Jupiter High School and graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering with a minor in engineering leadership.
After high school Megan started out her career as a dancer, and in 2004 she joined the Orlando Magic Dance Team. For the next five seasons, Megan traveled around the world with the Armed Forces Entertainment as well as the NBA for the 2006 and 2007 All-Star Games and NBA Madness in China.
In 2009, Megan became the Orlando Magic arena co-emcee and entered the Miss Florida USA pageant representing South Miami. Later that year, Megan was crowned Miss Florida USA 2010.
Megan has hosted various TV and online shows, including Muscle Car Workout on PBS and FOX Sports Florida’s behind-the-scenes, all-access series Inside the Magic. She is currently the Orlando Magic co-emcee at home games and a sideline reporter for Sun Sports/FOX Sports Florida. While at XOS Digital, Megan will continue her duties with the Orlando Magic and FOX Sports Florida.
