A Family Affair, Little Bay Serves TV Industry From Truck to Control Room

The Sports Video Group is pleased to welcome Little Bay Broadcast Services as a mobile/integrator sponsor. Located in Dover, NH, the broadcast-system-integration firm originally launched in 1998 and restarted in 2005. The original Little Bay was bought by NMT and renamed Venue Services Group.

David Raynes and son Brian serve as directors, providing systems integration, design, maintenance, and project management for sports arenas, mobile-production television trucks, flyaway packs, and control rooms.

Little Bay Broadcast Services is well-known for building high-quality mobile-production trucks, with more than 30 designed and/or integrated by its staff. The company has had a hand in dozens of NFL football stadiums, small and medium-size control rooms, and flyaway systems. The company’s extensive knowledge of fiber infrastructure, for both tactical and SMPTE hybrid fiber, has served its customers well for close to 10 years.

2012 was a busy year for Little Bay. The company refurbished NEP’s ST1, Comcast SportsNet HD Mid-Atlantic production truck (based out of Washington, DC), and Thistle Communications’ Unit 1. CSP Mobile Productions’ third HD truck, HD2, was fully integrated by Little Bay, the second the company has wired for CSP Mobile.

At the moment, Little Bay is preparing to ship a million-dollar control room for a house of worship in Baton Rouge, LA, and is refurbishing NCP II for early 2013.
