League Technology Summit: Early Bird Registration Closes Friday

Tomorrow marks the deadline for early-bird ($195) and VIP registration for the seventh-annual League Technology Summit, which will take place on Dec. 10-11 at the New York Hilton Hotel. Register by Nov. 30 to get discounted registration or qualify for VIP registration.

The League Technology Summit is now officially a two-day conference, with Day One’s workshops (Dec. 10) featuring the popular Mobile Engineering Workshop, plus an entirely new second track Innovations in Sports Technology covering in-venue wireless, second screen, production workflows, and more.

Day one is capped by the Opening Night Reception, a VIP networking event. It will be a central and easy place to meet up with friends and colleagues, while checking out the latest gear on display. More than 60 leading vendors will be on-site to show off what’s new and what’s coming from their product teams.

On Dec. 11,  don’t miss the opening keynote when sportswriter and TV reporter Jeremy Schaap sits down with George Bodenheimer, ESPN executive chairman, and Ed Goren, former Fox Sports Media Group vice chairman, to discuss the state of the business.

In addition, the closing keynote features Frank Golding, who will discusses YouTube’s sports strategy. Each year mobile and online platforms are providing access to exponentially more sports content than the previous year and changing the way sports fans consume content. What does this mean to production teams, current rights holders, and distributors? the conversation will be moderated by Edward O’Brien, NBA Properties, VP, Digital Media Distribution.
