“Primestream has become an SVG sponsor because SVG is dedicated to raising awareness of innovations that both advance the sports-production/distribution process and enhance the overall consumer experience,” says President/CEO Claudio Lisman. “As a leader in advanced media-asset management and broadcast-automation software, Primestream shares this focus.”

The company’s broadcast-software solutions offer a seamless, end-to-end platform for digital acquisition of live and file-based video content, including media-asset management (MAM), editing, logging, playback, publishing to the Web, video contribution via smartphone, and dynamic archiving.

Its portfolio features the FORK Production Suite, as well as Mobile2Air, ControlStation, and the cloud-based FORK Xchange Suite.

“We have mastered automation of news and sports broadcasts with our acclaimed FORK suite of applications,” continues Lisman. “In the coming year, we look forward to bringing this enabling technology to an even greater number of broadcast/broadband organizations, professional teams and leagues, colleges and universities, and other facilities engaged in sports-video production.”

Primestream recently released FORK Logger 1.0, a cross-platform module built into FORK Production Suite 3.5. Logger 1.0 is a metadata-tagging tool provides sports-analysis capabilities, allowing live or prerecorded video to be logged. A tightly integrated and configurable user interface enables content loggers to tag sports video with defined metadata into the FORK environment, making assets easier to manage, automate, and, ultimately, monetize.
