Polar Mobile Launches MediaEverywhere Platform for Mobile Site, App Development

Polar Mobile, a mobile technology provider for media companies, has launched MediaEverywhere, its new media-focused development platform for mobile sites and apps. Over 20 publishers have already signed on to launch mobile products with MediaEverywhere, including; British Wired, Toronto Star, Canadian Living, Elle Canada, British Vogue, talkSPORT, Daily Racing Form, CFO Publishing and the Fight Network.

MediaEverywhere is a software as a service development platform for mobile sites and apps. According to Polar Mobile, the platform enables media companies to build better custom mobile sites and apps faster and easier than traditional custom development while still offering developers the pixel level control they need. MediaEverywhere enables custom user experience creation though a flexible UI framework and easy-to-use libraries packaged into a single Software Development Kit (SDK). MediaEverywhere is publisher-ready with built-in integrations with leading content management systems, ad technology, and analytics providers.

“All of our customers tell us that their mobile traffic is growing exponentially as is the variety of devices used by their readers. Publishers of all types want to offer great experiences across phones, tablets and beyond,” says Polar Mobile CEO Kunal Gupta. “MediaEverywhere lets them do that with control and the media integrations they need to make a business out of mobile.”

MediaEverywhere is already being used by media companies to reduce complexities of mobile development while bringing the user experience to all devices, platforms and screens. MediaEverywhere-powered products are already live for select customers including The Hockey News and Canadian Living. Both are flagship brands published in print and online by TC Media. The Hockey News (http://m.thn.com) and Canadian Living (http://m.canadianliving.com) mobile sites are optimized for iPhone OS 4.3+ and Android OS 2.3+ smartphones.

“With MediaEverywhere, we launched flagship mobile websites within weeks and are providing our users with a best-in-class experience that will drive increased engagement and monetization,” says Brady Murphy, VP, Mobile, TC Media. “The flexibility provided by MediaEverywhere is exactly what we are looking for as a media publisher looking to extend reach to mobile in a cost-effective and efficient manner while maintaining control of the user experience.”
