KenCast Technology Supports Streaming Needs in the Field

The Sports Video Group is pleased to welcome KenCast as a corporate sponsor. For more than two decades, KenCast has provided secure and reliable delivery of multimedia content, content-delivery products and services, and software.

At this week’s League Technology Summit, KenCast showcased its VazztPitcher software, which allows sports producers to send and receive live streams and very large data and video files across a virtual network, supported by maximum bandwidth.

Prior to the event, CEO Bill Steele said, “We are very excited to showcase our VazztPitcher software at the SVG League Technology Summit. We look forward to demonstrating how our next-gen video- and data-streaming technology will provide any sports producer better quality and TV-studio–type reliability for their live, in-the-field streaming needs.”

Based in Norwalk, CT, KenCast’s technology is used in the entertainment and media industries and for the military, homeland security, public safety, and banking and finance, where flawless delivery is required.

The company recently streamed live video of the Can-Am League’s Rockland Boulders’ 50 home games for the 2012 season, the 2012 Dan Finn Classic basketball charity games, as well as marathons and other sports competitions.
