XOS Digital, Inc., a provider of digital media management and monetization services for collegiate and professional sports organizations, announced the launch date of Jan. 6, 2013 for the much anticipated ThunderCloud portfolio of cloud-based, web-enabled services for sports. The announcement was made today by Chris McCleary, CEO, XOS Digital.

“The power of our highly respected Thunder HD Coaching Solutions and the innovative XOS Digital Sports Network Platform will be integrated into our ThunderCloud platform,” McCleary said. ”This portfolio of cloud-based, web-enabled services will be available to all teams, leagues, conferences and rights holders,” McCleary said.

ThunderCloud will integrate both the digital media management and monetization functions required by sports teams and rights holders into a unified, cloud-based platform. The modular portfolio of services will include innovative solutions to improve team performance through the capture, management, viewing, distribution, and analysis of video integrated with critical data and stats.

ThunderCloud provides rights holders with an advanced platform to extract the maximum value from their digital media assets, copyright and data. In addition, the platform will provide a streamlined management and preservation solution for all digital assets.

“Our engineering teams have been working for two years to bring the power of Thunder to the cloud, enabling all sports teams worldwide to have access to technology used by the teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL and all major college conferences,” McCleary said.

XOS Digital will officially launch the ThunderCloud portfolio of services at the American Football Coaches Association event in Nashville, Tenn. on Jan. 6, 2013.
