KenCast To Live Stream 9th Annual Dan Finn Classic in HD

KenCast will stream live video of all six games of the 9th Annual Dan Finn Classic online, January 19. The games will be broadcast live on the Web in HD from the Jersey City Armory in New Jersey.

There will be no charge to view the games, but KenCast and the DFC sponsors hope to raise funds for students who need help to cover tuition fees through promotion of the streaming video broadcast. Viewers can watch the games by visiting the Dan Finn Classic website. Live transmission begins at approximately 10:45 am through the last game – approximately 10 pm, Saturday January 19.

KenCast will broadcast with four camera coverage, using VazztCaster software, for viewing on any device (laptop, iPad, phone, etc.). VazztCaster is currently used by TV news networks and the military for its pristine quality and high dependability. It is available as a free download at Vazzt.com.

Coverage will also include live interviews with some of the star players.  These may include top Division I prospects like St. Anthony’s Hallice Cooke, a 6′ 3″ senior guard signed to Oregon St; Gill-St. Bernard’s 6′ 10″ senior center Austin Colbert, signed to Syracuse, and Snyder HS’ 5′ 11 senior guard James Richardson, averaging 25+/game. There may also be a surprise visit/interview with current Hall-of-Famer Leonard Marshall, former NY Giants defensive lineman and longtime supporter of the DFC.

KenCast CEO Bill Steele said, “We are pleased to broadcast the DFC online a second year in a row to bring this collection of talent to the web, and support the wonderful work of the DFC organization.”
