TSE Services Adds James Mallad as Director of A/V Solutions

TSE Services has added Jamel Mallad as the Director of A/V Solutions.  Mallad will be responsible for project management and vendor relations for TSE audio/video installations.

According to CEO John Brostrom, Jamel’s addition is an important one to TSE and TSE’s clients.  “Jamel’s experience and expertise will be invaluable to our company and me personally as we continue to grow the equipment side of our business,” says Brostrom. “Our customers should be very excited to see us add personnel of this caliber.”

Originally from the Detroit area, Mallad brings a number of years of audio/video installation experience from small local stores to large multi-million dollar event facilities.  After graduation from the University of Michigan and a career with Pontiac Motor Division he found himself settling down in Central Pennsylvania.  There he helped Blair Communications, a small family owned Telecom interconnect, become one of the leaders in convergent technologies.

Soon he became one of the most respected consultants in the area leading to a position as the Communications and IT Director of the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, PA.  Mallad was responsible for all IT operations as well as the coordination of technology and logistics for all events held at the facility from concerts to trade shows.  He later became the co-owner of Blair Business Communications; a systems integration company specializing in installing audio systems, video systems, data networks including servers/desktops and security/surveillance systems.

While at Blair Business Communications he planned and installed systems at various sports facilities, museums, shopping malls, bars and restaurants.  When the company was sold in 2007, he stayed on with his duties and took over the role of Sales Director and Project Manager.

“I cannot express my excitement enough on joining the TSE team,” said Mallad. “I have been familiar with the company since the days of the Blues Brothers and look forward to adding my expertise to the already over 100 years of experience.”
