Fox Soccer, Fox Soccer Plus To Televise Nine Matches Over Four Days Next Week

Next week, Fox Soccer and Fox Soccer Plus combine to offer exclusive live coverage of nine matches over four days featuring the sport’s biggest clubs, competitions and players from the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, FA Cup and CONCACAF Champions League.

FoxSoccerThe first match of the star-studded week is the highly anticipated FA Cup Sixth Round replay between current Barclays Premier League leaders Manchester United and reigning European champion Chelsea, live Monday, April 1 at 7:25 am ET (encore at 8 pm ET) on Fox Soccer. Having tied the first game 2-2, both teams need impressive performances at Stamford Bridge to advance to the semifinals.

The UEFA Champions League takes center stage on Tuesday, April 2 (2 pm ET) on Fox Soccer with a live high-profile matchup between Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona. Barca’s squad, led by four-time FIFA World Player of the Year Lionel Messi, travels to Paris to face former teammate and star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The second quarterfinal of the day features German powerhouse Bayern Munich battling Italy’s Juventus on Fox Soccer Plus, also live at 2 pm ET.

Coverage continues Wednesday, April 3, with two more UEFA Champions League quarterfinal encounters – Real Madrid versus Galatasaray on Fox Soccer and Malaga versus Borussia Dortmund on Fox Soccer Plus, both simultaneously airing live at 2 pm ET. The Seattle Sounders clash against Santos in Tuesday’s first leg semifinal live at 10 pm ET, while the 2012 MLS Champion LA Galaxy take on Mexico’s Monterrey, live Wednesday at 10 pm ET.
