Telos Alliance Announces New Leadership Roles, Adds to Team

Telos Alliance CEO Frank Foti has announced the new appointments of Tim Carroll as the Chief Technology Officer and Greg Shay as the Chief Science Officer for The Telos Alliance. Christina Carroll will take on the lead role of  Vice President and Executive Director of Linear Acoustic.

In their new roles as CTO and CSO, Mr. Carroll and Shay will oversee the creation, research and development, and implementation of technologies needed to bring the Telos Alliance into the forefronts of their respective industries. Ms. Carroll will spearhead the overall operation of the Linear Acoustic brand.

“Technology is a core strength of our organization.  We’re always pushing the technical envelope, streamlining existing products, and creating solutions for problems broadcasters that don’t know yet exist,” said Foti.  “I can’t think of anyone better suited to lead us forward in that area than Tim and Greg and Christina will carry over her proven sales leadership to her new role at Linear Acoustic.”

Continuing to build on world-class service, Linear Acoustic has welcomed Cleveland native Larry Schindel as the Director of Technology.  Schindel brings with him nearly 15 years of experience at Dolby Laboratories where his role as Product Manager involved working extensively with Linear Acoustic products. In his new position, Schindel will work closely with customers and industry partners to define technologies, and features for the growing  Linear Acoustic product line.

Linear Acoustic Vice President and Executive Director Christina Carroll is pleased to have Schindel on board.  “Our relationship with Larry goes back a long way and our paths have crossed many times over the years” said Ms. Carroll.  “He knows our products and the technology and he’s passionate about audio.  We couldn’t be happier to have him on our team.”

Expanding the sales team, Egor Tyagunov has joined Linear Acoustic as a Field Applications Engineer for the EMEA. Originally from Russia, Tyagunov’s territory will include all of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He will work closely with Peter Passian, EMEA Sales Director for Telos Alliance.

In the U.S., John Bisset has been brought on as Director of Western Sales for Telos, Omnia, 25-Seven, and Axia.  A veteran in the broadcast industry, Bisset is perhaps best known as the author of the popular and long-running “Workbench” column in Radio World and has held a number of sales and marketing positions in broadcasting throughout his career.
