SGI gains two highly complementary FileTek products, Trusted Edge and StorHouse, with many benefits for existing and new customers. SGI will continue to support and market these products under the SGI brand.

• Trusted Edge software adds intelligent analysis of data assets held on heterogeneous primary storage, and automated, policy-based data migration for SGI InfiniteStorage Gateway solutions.
• StorHouse software adds a proven information lifecycle management and active archive solution that includes structured data, complementing SGI’s renowned highly-scalable DMF technology for unstructured data
