ONE World Sports Appoints Gary Herman as EVP, Ad Sales and Sponsorships

ONE World Sports, delivering live and exclusive sports from around the world, announced the appointment of industry veteran Gary Herman as executive vice president, advertising sales and sponsorships.

Herman, who most recently was senior vice president of advertising sales at Tennis Channel, will be responsible for overseeing all advertising and sponsorship operations for the network. Prior to joining Tennis Channel in 2007, Herman was senior vice president of advertising sales at Scripps Networks channels DIY and Fine Living.

“We are thrilled to have someone of Gary’s caliber leading the charge for ad sales at ONE World Sports,” said Alexander “Sandy” Brown, president and CEO of ONE World Sports. “He will be a great addition to our executive roster, and his appointment represents yet another important step in the evolution of our global sports network.”

In his new role, Herman will drive ad sales and sponsorships, and expand related revenue streams across all ONE World Sports’ platforms including on-air, website, broadband and its mobile application. In addition, Herman will create integrated programs across all of ONE Media Corp. consumer brands, involving ONE World Sports, America ONE Sports and America ONE Television.

The appointment takes effect immediately. Herman will be based in ONE World Sports’ headquarters in New York City.

The Philadelphia native is a graduate of George Washington University in Washington, DC.
