The University of Missouri, a Division I institution and a member of the Southeastern Conference, is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the positions of Manager of Production and Manager Broadcast Operations – SEC Network.
Manager of Production
This position is responsible for production and creation of video content for Mizzou Athletics sports programs which are disseminated through the Athletics venues’ video boards, SEC Network, websites, syndicated television programming, and other multimedia outlets. Oversees the management and daily operations of the production of video services. Directs and oversees the production of video graphics, sports videos and commercials.
Runs the video board and television-quality live production for assigned sports. Assists in the collaboration and integration of the video services department and off-campus entities for content creation and delivery.
Assists with the creation of high-end videos and commercials. Coordinates the production of video highlight packages for assigned sports. Recruits announce talent for the Missouri Athletics produced SEC Network digital content.
Assists in the fulfillment of corporate sponsorships with Mizzou Sports Properties. Complies with all applicable NCAA and SEC regulations in the performance of job duties.
Minimum Qualifications
Entry into the applicant pool requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Communications, Radio, Television and Film, Broadcast Journalism, Engineering, or a related field and five years professional level experience in television or video production services, preferably related to a sports program. Knowledge of live video and post production procedures and various communications mediums is also required. Employer will consider advanced degrees in lieu of experience.

Manager of Broadcast Operations – SEC Network
This position will be responsible for the operational, financial and maintenance activities of the new SEC network broadcast facilities. This position will oversee and manage the design and configuration of an HD facility and its equipment; prepare equipment proposals, reports and evaluations and coordinate activities with internal/external IT providers on convergent technologies; provide daily supervision, management and direction of engineering coverage and prompt response to critical issues impacting the stations on-air technical look and/or performance; administrates maintenance procedures regarding day to day operation of the facility and all related technical equipment and transmission of all audio, video, cable TV fiber-optic systems, networks, live broadcasts, on air production, video production and post-production.

Salary Range: $55,000 to $65,000
