Japanese scientists unveil floating 3D projection [video]

Reuters (via washingtonpost.com) reports that scientists in Tokyo have demonstrated what they say is the world’s first 3D projection that floats in mid air. The project developers saw a need for projecting critical information in light of the 1995 Kobe earthquake.
