“Dynamic, crystal clear, color is fantastic, and the WOW factor is multi-dimensional,” said Director of Athletics Chet Gladchuk. “We could not be more pleased with not only the project, but everything we do with the finest group of professionals in the industry. Daktronics delivers on every front.”

The main centerhung will feature four individual video displays each measuring approximately 8 feet high by 8 feet wide and featuring 6 millimeter line spacing. These video displays will be capable of showing one large image to highlight live video and instant replays. They can also be divided into separate windows to show a variety of vivid graphics, colorful animations, up-to-the-minute statistics, scoring information and sponsor advertisements.

The centerhung includes a lower ring display that measures 2 feet high by 31 feet wide in circumference and will also feature 6 millimeter line spacing. This display can show additional statistics and scoring information as well as highlighting sponsors throughout events.

“Working on the Naval Academy’s Alumni Hall project has been a privilege,” said Daktronics Sales Representative Charley Bocklet. “The new displays will be a great addition to the facility and will help provide fans with an even more fulfilling and enhanced game-day experience.”

In addition to the equipment installation, Alumni Hall will also receive a bank of hours for the creation of digital content to be produced and delivered by Daktronics Creative Services. This content will consist of any mixture of sponsorship messages, crowd prompts, headshots, game opens and venue announcements at the customer’s request.

The Naval Academy will also receive four LED scoreboards. They include three outdoor Rugby scoreboards and one indoor tennis scoreboard.

Daktronics LED video and messaging display technology offers a long lifetime with minimal maintenance and low power consumption, providing value and excitement for years to come.

The main video display for the Saints will measure approximately 27.5 feet high by 49 feet wide and will feature a 15HD pixel layout. The display will be installed in left-center field and will incorporate excellent image clarity and contrast with wide angle visibility while providing multiple levels of protection from the elements. It is capable of showing one large image to highlight live video and instant replays. It can also be divided into separate windows to show a variety of vivid graphics, colorful animations, up-to-the-minute statistics, scoring information and sponsor advertisements.

The Daktronics products will assist in developing a new game-day experience for the Saints fans.”

In addition to the video display, the Saints will also be receiving a fixed-digit scoreboard. This scoreboard will display basic baseball information such as pitch count, at bat, and hits and errors.
