Deluxe Appoints Frank Cardello as President of Media Services Division

Deluxe has appointed accomplished technology leader Frank Cardello as president of Deluxe Media, an integrated provider of marketing, content, design, localization, and media production services.
Based in Burbank, Cardello will oversee Deluxe’s 23 media services operations with more than 2,600 full-time employees worldwide. The division offers a comprehensive range of entertainment and media services including technology design and second screen applications, workflow management, audio subtitling and dubbing, and physical media distribution and related services, among others.
Cardello will report to Deluxe CEO David Kassler.
“Frank brings extensive and very relevant technology and industry experience to Deluxe, as we continue to pursue our goal of becoming the world’s preeminent digital asset manager and distributor of digital content,” Kassler said. “He is a valuable and key addition to our executive roster.”
Prior to joining Deluxe, Cardello for the past eight years held a variety of advanced leadership roles with T3Media, which offers content management, delivery and monetization services for media and entertainment companies. Most recently, he served as T3Media’s president and chief operating officer, leading the company’s overall growth and operations.
Cardello previously served as vice president of sales and business development at Ping Identity Corp., a provider of Web-based identify-and-access management solutions. He held the same position at Jabber, which commercialized an open-source platform that has since been sold to Cisco Systems.
Cardello graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the U.S. Naval Academy and served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
