Artist Suite creative tools for audio, video, and live sound production include Pro Tools digital audio workstations and Media Composer video editing, as well as award-winning control surfaces and live sound systems.

Media Suite solutions help customers manage, protect, distribute, and monetize their media, including iNEWS newsroom management, Interplay asset-management systems, and Media | Distribute multiplatform distribution.

Storage Suite solutions for media ingest, storage, and playout include ISIS online and nearline shared storage, the AirSpeed 5000 ingest/playout server, and FastBreak broadcast automation.

NBC Sports embraced Avid Everywhere this year and implemented a fully integrated Avid MediaCentral Platform workflow for its broadcast of Super Bowl XLIX in Phoenix. This large-scale remote-production workflow — which NBC Sports also uses for coverage of the Olympics, NASCAR, NHL, Formula 1, English Premier League, and other top events — facilitated remote collaboration and increased production by more than 30%.

During the week before Super Bowl XLIX, the Avid MediaCentral Platform helped NBC broadcast several highly rated programs from downtown Phoenix. Specifically, the platform’s media-asset–management and remote-collaboration capabilities enabled production teams in Phoenix to collaborate in real time with producers and editors in NBC Sports’ Stamford, CT, facility more than 2,500 miles away.
