Date, Agenda Announced for SVG’s Sports Venue Technology Summit in Denver

SVG is pleased to announce that this year’s Sports Venue Technology Summit will take place on Tuesday, June 23, at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, CO. Home to the Denver Broncos, Sports Authority Field at Mile High received a $24 million upgrade prior to the 2013 season that transformed the 14-year-old stadium into one of the premier venues in the NFL.

Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium, followed by a day of informative panel discussions ranging from the recent renovation boom to the latest in replay servers and graphics engines, with a special focus on the Denver market.

9:00 – 9:45 a.m. Denver Perspectives: Local Teams Weigh In
Every team — from every league and every level — must make the best of their production system to engage their hometown fans in the venue. Local teams discuss their current facilities and production resources, game-day workflows, and how they strive to put on the best show possible.

9:45 – 10:30 a.m. The Renovation Boom
The past few years have seen a number of large-scale renovations intended to breathe new life into old venues. From replacing aging SD videoboards with gargantuan HD displays to enhancing connectivity and engagement through IPTV and WiFi, experts explain how venue renovations can reinvigorate a fan base.

10:30 – 11:00 a.m. Inside Sports Authority Field at Mile High with the Denver Broncos’ Production Team
Prior to the 2013 NFL season, the Denver Broncos completed a $24 million renovation of the AV facilities at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Hear from the team’s production staff about how the video upgrades have affected the game-day presentation before the behind-the-scenes tour.
