SVG Fund Update: Sam McInnis Fund Set Up; Red Rock Steps Up

The Sports Broadcasting Fund continues to assist those in need, and the latest is Sam McInnis, a freelance television technician who fell while climbing in the mountains near Palm Springs last week. In addition, the Red Rock Resort and Casino graciously donated a weekend stay for a silent auction held during the SVG Chairman’s Forum. Funds from that auction have been donated to the Fund, and we hope to have more items up for bid in the coming months.

As for Sam, he was on break from his gig working for NEP on the Coachella festival and suffered major injuries throughout his body. The good news is, all signs point to a complete recovery. However, he will need months of rehab/treatment before he can go back to work. That is why the Sports Broadcasting Fund has established a dedicated fund for family, friends, and industry associates to donate to and help Sam pay for treatments related to his recovery.
