JOB OPENING: University of Memphis Seeks Athletic Web Videographer

The University of Memphis Athletic Department currently has an opening for an Athletic Web Videographer. The position will coordinate the streaming and distribution of game footage, feature pieces and press conferences for all sports for internet use. This may include live games, weekly press conferences, and/or other shows/special features the department streams.The Athletic Web Videographer will oversee the operation of campus video boards, including maintenance and live game production. Also oversees the maintenance of video equipment and computers used for video streaming.

Additional duties and responsibilities include:

• Plans video coverage for internet streaming.
• Posts highlights of various sports to the American Athletic Conference video exchange but not limited to posting videos (post-game interviews and press conferences) to GoTigersGo.com and/or the Memphis Athletics YouTube Channel.
• Serves as liaison with the American Athletic Conference (American Digital Network), SideArm Sports, for video web streaming; but not limited to working with ESPN3 or other outside broadcast networks.
• Produces, shoots and edits weekly coaches shows; posts completed content to GoTigersGo.com and the Memphis Athletics YouTube Channel.
• Tapes footage for projects as needed, overseeing all phases of each project and videos various athletic events.
• Performs related duties as required or directed.
• Schedules students for web streams and highlight shooting.
