As the NHL’s chose video-solution provider for wireless multicamera goal monitoring, Teradek has deployed a number of products to the league to feed official scoring, including the zero-delay Bolt systems, Cube IP encoders, the T-Rax, and high-density, rack-mount decoders. The Teradek Bolt provides long-range, uncompressed-video transmission that enables frame-accurate monitoring over a robust RF signal. Along with Bolt, the compact Cube IP encoders are installed within the goalposts and use WiFi for system integration. And at the end of every workflow is a Teradek T-Rax, which provides up to eight encoder/decoder cards for multistream processing.
