SVG College Sports Summit: Engaging Fans With Videoboards of All Sizes

Regardless of the size and scope of an in-stadium videoboard, entertaining, informing, and engaging fans with it is becoming an art form all its own. At the SVG College Sports Summit earlier this month, video pros from colleges of all sizes discussed how they use video to pump up the crowd, showcase content, display captivating graphics, and coordinate all the sales and marketing elements that need to go into making a complete in-venue scoreboard production.

A diverse panel took the stage: Ryan Brown, director, broadcasting and productions, Wingate University; Kevin Cottam, business development manager, sports and live events, Ross Video; Imry Halevi, director, multimedia and production,  Harvard University; Jim Nachtman, assistant athletic director, media and video production, Penn State University; and Andy Young, assistant AD, video services, Auburn University.
