Fox Sports Names Nike-Vet Terri Hines as EVP of Communications

FOX Sports, the world’s leading sports media brand, has appointed Terri Hines Executive Vice President of Communications. Hines will lead communications across FOX Sports’ multi-platform portfolio, which includes the sports television arm of FOX Broadcasting Company, FS1, FS2, its 22 regional sports networks, FOX Sports Digital, FOX Deportes, and its joint ventures. She will begin her new role on December 5.

Hines will join FOX Sports from NIKE, Inc., where most recently she served as Vice President, Global Communications for Converse. In that role, she led Converse’s global communications strategy and corporate responsibility across key markets including North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America during a time of accelerated growth. Having worked on a number of award-winning campaigns during her tenure, she spearheaded the historic media launch for the Converse Chuck II. Previously, Hines served as Director of Communications for NIKE’s Jordan Brand leading brand and athlete communications, entertainment, corporate responsibility and events.

Hines has an M.A. in Communications from American University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida A&M University.
