Yellowtec Joins The Telos Alliance’s Group of Livewire Partners
Story Highlights
The Telos Alliance (parent company to Telos, Omnia, Axia, 25-Seven, Linear Acoustic, and Minnetonka) has announced that German-based Yellowtec has joined its growing family of Livewire partners. Yellowtec makes broadcast solutions, including desktop mixers, broadcast microphones, HD audio interfaces, studio lighting products, and more.
Axia designed Livewire—the first AoIP protocol for broadcast—with the express purpose of letting broadcasters “Connect to More”. Livewire enables high-reliability, low-delay uncompressed digital audio over Ethernet, including audio, logic, control, and program associated data (PAD). Livewire partner gear inherently works seamlessly together, making the broadcaster’s life easier by simplifying installation, operation, and workflows. By choosing Livewire, Yellowtec reinforces its commitment to reducing complexity for users.
“Access to various AoIP networks is essential when it comes to future-proof connectivity. This is why it has never been a question for us to become a Livewire partner,” says Hanno Mahr, CEO of Yellowtec. “With the US market being our most important sales market, it was an obvious move to get on board in order to meet the increasing demand for Livewire connectivity.”
“We are excited to have Yellowtec join the Livewire family. When you become a Livewire partner you tap into a growing family of innovative manufacturers, integrators, and software developers with the common goal of total interoperability,” says Marty Sacks, VP of Sales, Support, and Marketing for the Telos Alliance. “Now, with the fully AES67-compliant Livewire+ AES67, broadcasters can in fact connect to more, more easily, while benefiting from every aspect of the standard.”
