NAB 2018: NTT Electronics To Exhibit New Products, Technologies
NTT Electronics Corporation will jointly exhibit with NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation), NTT DOCOMO, and NTT TechnoCross at NAB 2018 (Booth #SU3021).
The technologies on exhibition by NTT Electronics at NAB 2018 include:
HEVC Multi Channel Encoder/Codec 4K 100ms Latency
Using an in-house ASIC, the HC11000 Series is NTT Electronics’ 4:2:2 10bit HEVC multi-channel and 4K HDR real-time encoder. It has the capability to transmit broadcasting quality video images in low bitrate, low latency with low power consumption. HC11000 has the scalable capability from SD to HD and to 4K 60p.
HC11000 series has the necessary functions as well as the promising stability to be used in the Olympics, World Cup and other World Class Sporting events. It is the suitable solution for premium sports contents. HEVC technology will help reduce bandwidth and save operational cost while maintaining high quality. Also by using multi-channel, it will lower the price per channel.
At NAB 2018, we are going to exhibit the multi-channel and 4K decoded images using our real-time encoder and decoder to demonstrate our high picture quality.
HEVC IP Codec Low Bit Rate, Low Latency
MV7000 is NTT Electronics’ brand new Compact 1U half-rack size HEVC IP codec which provides high video quality IP/ASI transmission with low bit rate and low latency. It supports various IP related functions which enables stable and reliable live IP transmission.

Spherical Drone Display
Spherical drone display is a world’s first device that can display a high resolution image in all directions from anywhere in 3D space. The new version achieved more than 10 times higher resolution than conventional models by mounting newly designed LED and control boards. The highly maneuverable drone can be operated virtually anywhere, including venues such as concert halls or arenas where it can fly around as part of a performance or deliver advertising messages, event information, etc.
