World Armwrestling League Events To Air Exclusively On Bleacher Report Live

World Armwrestling League (WAL) today announced that Turner Sports’ new streaming service, Bleacher Report Live will be the exclusive source for its live event programming. The new streaming service will allow fans to watch WAL live events including five regional events and the final event of the WAL season, the Supermatch Showdown Championship.

“Everyone understands arm wrestling. It’s one of mankind’s oldest competitive outlets and carries a universal level of relevance regardless of age, ethnicity or geography,” says Steve Kaplan, WAL President and Commissioner. “We couldn’t be more excited about the relationship with Turner Sports and its ability to expand our rapidly growing audience to a wider range of global sports fans through B/R Live.”

Boasting an impressive legion of support and fandom, WAL has showcased a meteoric rise in popularity and viewership since the league was founded in 2014. In addition to WAL events, B/R Live will broadcast thousands of live sporting events available directly through the service, including the UEFA Champions and Europa Leagues, NBA League Pass games, 65 NCAA championships, the PGA Championship, the National Lacrosse League, The Spring League, Red Bull Global Rallycross and more.

The WAL’s partnership with Turner will leverage the network’s tremendous reach through television advertising and digital marketing campaigns, promoting WAL events offered on B/R Live. Furthermore, B/R Live will fully leverage the Bleacher Report brand and its unique ability to reach and connect with millennial and Gen Z fans. Tapping into mainstream sports properties with avid fan bases, and niche sports with passionate communities, B/R Live will provide a gateway for content to be enjoyed by all audiences.

The partnership couldn’t come at a better time for WAL, with a 2018 season schedule that’s bigger and better than ever. B/R Live will feature five two-hour, live primetime events on Thursday nights, comprising the “WAL Supermatch Showdown Series,” including:
