Scale Logic Debuts Genesis Health Monitoring Service

Scale Logic is launching its new health monitoring service for Genesis Unlimited, Unlimited Hybrid, RX2, GDS, IAP and HyperMDC servers. All new units shipping post-NAB 2018 will include the new health monitoring feature at no added charge.

“Scale Logic already has a 24/7/365 network operations center that gives customers white-glove support,” says Robert Herzan, president and CEO of Scale Logic. “But we’re always striving to deliver greater value, and our new Health Monitoring service for Genesis brings our customers another level of service and support.”

The Genesis Health Monitoring Service communicates directly with installed products at customer sites, using the equipment serial number to track service outages, system temperature, power supply failure, data storage drive failure and dozens of other mission-critical status updates. The service then opens a case on behalf of the customer, communicates that the case is open, and then sends parts or support services based on the service-level agreement with each specific customer.

As a complement to the company’s managed services group – encompassing IT management, setup and system administration –  Scale Logic’s new Health Monitoring Service gives customers a complete, end-to-end remote support system. The new service is available to Scale Logic end-users in all regions of the world and complies with enterprise-level security protocols by relying only on outgoing communication via a single port.
