As a truly global brand, Riot Games was looking to build a content management system that would allow its esports production and distribution teams to seamlessly share content with partners across the globe. The Riot Games technical team selected an object-based storage and orchestration solution because it provided the capability to serve both its on-prem workflows and scale to multiple different cloud platforms. This year’s SCMS Forum will feature media-asset–management (MAM) leaders from major broadcasters, leagues, teams, OTT outlets, and vendors offering first-hand perspectives and behind-the-curtain looks at their respective workflows. In addition to addressing the latest MAM and storage technology, this year’s expanded program will feature a Cybersecurity and Content Protection Workshop aimed to provide attendees with insight into how to better protect their facilities and prevent online piracy.
