SVG Announces Esports Production Forum in Los Angeles on Nov. 6

SVG has announced the first conference dedicated to the art, craft, and technology of esports production – the SVG Esports Production Forum on Nov. 6, 2018, at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Los Angeles. This event is focused on how esports producers are creating an entirely new viewing experience for fans.

“Video game publishers, esports leagues and venues, and live-streaming services are bringing an entirely new mindset to live-sports production and storytelling, and this event will provide a a behind the scenes view of how this dynamic and rapidly emerging form of sports television is being made,” says Ken Kerschbaumer, Co-Executive Director, Editorial Services, SVG. “Los Angeles is the epicenter for much of this activity, so it is a natural fit for our live TV audience, which includes industry professionals from across the entire range of TV production.”

The preliminary Esports Production Forum conference program will feature presentations by all leading game publishers as well as traditional sports leagues.  Producers and engineers will provide case studies on remote production, automation, the arena experience, set design, and graphics.
