Yahoo Sports Appoints Sarah Crennan as Head of Content
Yahoo Sports announced the appointment of Sarah Crennan as Head of Content. Crennan previously served as the Head of Programming for Yahoo Sports where she combined her passion for digital video and sports to bring new digital offerings to life for the company. This past year she has been responsible for the launch of several innovations, including The Rush, Yahoo Sports’ first-ever daily digital content offering bringing the must-see moments in sports straight to fans’ phones.
As Head of Content, Crennan will be responsible for growing all of Yahoo Sports’ content, video, and social media platforms with a “fans come first” mantra.
Prior to joining Yahoo Sports, she served multiple roles at AOL, including Senior Director of Content Partnerships and Business Development where she oversaw the strategy, negotiation and ongoing management for premium content partners.
Crennan is a graduate of Georgetown University and a passionate women’s lacrosse fan, having played attack at her alma mater, she currently remains active with the sport as an on-air analyst for women’s games, across various local networks.
