SVGW To Host Los Angeles Networking Reception at Canon Burbank, Nov. 5

SVGW, SVG’s networking group for women in the sports-production industry, will host a Networking Reception on Monday, November 5, in Los Angeles! The day before SVG’s Esports Production Forum, all are welcome to join SVGW for drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and the opportunity to network with women in the Los Angeles sports-production and esports communities.

SVGW is a networking group that aims to enhance the role of women in the creation, production, and distribution of sports content. SVGW members are an integral part of the larger Sports Video Group (SVG) community, and work for leagues, teams, broadcasters, technology companies, and more. SVGW hosts networking events throughout the year and throughout the country, where members are invited to listen, learn, exchange ideas and best practices, and network with other women in the industry.

Following the SVGW Networking Reception on Nov. 5, attendees are invited to stay at Canon Burbank for a Canon networking event from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. During the event, Canon will provide an up-close look at its 4K/UHD lens lineup and how their design can enhance the image capture performance in UHD, HDR, and HD applications. Latest advancements and optical features (such as image stabilization) will also be discussed. In addition, for the first time in the U.S., Canon will have on display its UHD-DIGISUPER UJ122x8.2 BIE-D Field Production lens, which is the first 4K lens with 1,000mm on the long end coupled with an impressive 8.2mm wide end.  Also on display will be the CJ25ex7.6 BIASE, which is our new flagship UHD handheld telephoto lens.
