NEP Showcases MAM, Augmented Reality, Remote Production Tools at Sportel Monaco

NEP (booth B03/B04, Level 0) will be exhibiting at SPORTEL Monaco from October 22-24, 2018 in the Ravel Exhibition Hall in the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. The company will be highlighting its Mediabank media asset management tool, augmented reality technology, and remote commentary solution with live demos throughout the show. NEP’s presence at SPORTEL will also give attendees the opportunity to learn more about NEP’s full lineup of broadcast, media, and live event solutions and find out about the company’s latest sports projects.

“SPORTEL Monaco is an important show that to showcase NEP’s cutting-edge technology to the world’s top sports leagues, federations, broadcasters, and media companies,” says Paul Henriksen, President, NEP Europe & Media Solutions. “We believe that today’s advanced technologies — like our Mediabank, augmented reality, and remote commentary solutions — help bring viewers closer to the action in new and engaging ways, which can help content producers tell a more compelling story.”

Mediabank is a cloud-based toolbox with an extremely intuitive and user-friendly interface that allows users to access their media from anywhere, anytime. Users can search, process and distribute anything from their entire media library using their favorite browser on their own computer, tablet, or phone.

NEP’s augmented reality (AR) solutions meld real life with virtual elements to transform a confined area into an infinite space or replace a green screen with a set that perfectly fits the content of a program. NEP has combined four key elements into one workflow — tracking technology, advanced live rendering, next-generation keying, and total workflow integration — to create next-level results.

NEP’s remote commentary solution is the world’s first automated production solution that can handle multiple simultaneous events, feeds and languages with viewers in different countries and on various platforms. It includes portable commentary units that can be easily configured to a specific event, even when commentators and the event are on different sides of the world.

NEP will also be on hand to discuss its full line of Broadcast Services, Live Event and Media Solutions offerings, including: outside broadcast, studio production, host broadcast support, live event audiovisual solutions, premium playout, and more.
