NAB 2019: AJA Systems Upgrades Ki Pro, openGear, IP Mini-Converter Families

At NAB 2019, AJA unveiled new product additions to its Ki Pro, openGear and IP Mini-Converter families as well as major updates for FS-HDR, KONA, Io and T-TAP products, HDR Image Analyzer, and HELO.

Ki Pro GO
Ki Pro GO is a portable genlock free, multi-channel H.264 HD and SD redundant recorder/player that captures pristine quality video to off the shelf USB media. Its flexible architecture with 4x 3G-SDI and 4x HDMI inputs for any combination of four sources to four recording channels with a fifth redundant channel and Matrix Monitoring, is designed to meet a range of recording needs for professionals in live production, sports, corporate events, training, houses of worship and other video markets.

openGear Cards
14 new openGear cards combine the functionality of AJA’s most popular Mini-Converters with openGear’s high-density architecture, with support for openGear DashBoard software. These new cards provide fiber conversion, distribution amplification, and audio embedding/disembedding, designed for the most demanding broadcast environments.

SMPTE ST 2110 Mini-Converters
AJA’s new IPT-10G2-HDMI and IPT-10G2-SDI IP video transmitters bridge HDMI and 3G-SDI signals to SMPTE ST 2110. Both models include dual 10 GigE SFP+ ports to support hitless switching (SMPTE ST 2022-7) for redundancy in critical transmission environments.

AJA has announced important updates for our most popular products, including the FS-HDR, KONA cards and Io devices, HELO, and the HDR Image Analyzer. New software brings Apple ProRes support to AJA Control Room on macOS, Windows, and Linux, plus new 8K support and much more!
