SVG College Summit: The Ivy League’s Kevin Copp Dishes on Partnering With ESPN+

How the conference brought more than 1,100 live events to subscribers to the direct-to-consumer streaming service

Beginning last fall, The Ivy League made a dramatic change to its media-production and -distribution strategy, opening a comprehensive agreement with ESPN to broadcast more than 1,100 live events across more than 35 sports on the new ESPN+ direct-to-consumer platform.

At the SVG College Summit, our Kristian Hernandez caught up with Kevin Copp, assistant executive director, digital content and communications, The Ivy League, to discuss the benefits of partnering with ESPN and how the first year of the deal went.
