FIBA Strikes Deal With FloSports on Streaming of 3-on-3 Events

FloSports struck a multiyear partnership with The International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the world governing body for basketball, to provide live and on-demand coverage of the FIBA 3×3 World Cup, FIBA 3×3 World Tour, and the 2020 3×3 Olympic Qualifying Tournaments on through 2020.

FIBA brings together 213 National Basketball Federations from all over the world. They organize and oversee international competitions that include the FIBA 3×3 World Tour, and the 2020 3×3 Olympic Qualifying Tournaments, which will air on FloHoops beginning this November.

The FIBA 3×3 World Cup is the leading 3×3 event for national teams and takes place in Amsterdam, Netherlands on June 18-23, 2019. A total of 20 men’s and 20 women’s team will do battle outdoors on Museumplein, one of the Dutch capital’s most iconic squares.

The 2019 World Tour will consist of 11 Master tournaments, before culminating with the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final on November 2-3 in Utsunomiya, Japan. The complete schedule of FIBA 3×3 events can be found on

The US and Puerto Rico 3×3 men’s national teams won’t just chase medals in the Netherlands. This year’s FIBA 3×3 World Cup will be special: the top 3 teams in both genders will receive an automatic berth to next year’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
